Hello everyone,
I am sorry for a late post this week but after the bank holiday I got little busy with some stuff. Anyway, I hope you are all well 🙂
Today’s post is about how to style a gingham print for spring/summer outfits. There is no doubt that gingham pieces are very popular this season. Many of you might already have the print in the wardrobe, but if not I suggest you get something with this print. I decided to go for a short skirt with a frill from New Look, the best way to style it was with a white off-the-shoulder top- perfect for the sunny days 🙂 🙂 I kept the accessories simple and classic- silver watch, few rings, and white big sunglasses. To brighten the look a little I’ve matched it with a bright, red clutch bag.
Gingham skirts or trousers (depending what you are going for) are graceful by itself so the best way to style them is to pair them with plain, simple tops and either flat shoes for an effortless stylish outfit or with heels. The print can definitely make women look more youthful, so it’s worth trying it 😉 If you are not a big fan of a massive gingham print in your outfit, go for a handbag or heels, you can style it with jeans/denim skirt and a plain top.
Let me know what you think of this outfit.!!
And as some of you ask me where I shop my outfits, I decided that from now on I’ll post direct links to the pieces from my outfits in the bottom of each post.!! (only current collections-so you can shop it if you like)… Just scroll down and click on the links 🙂 🙂 🙂 ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓

I have a black and white gingham cropped top. I like wearing it with simple white pants or a pink midi skirt. I think your skirt is amazing, and the shoes too! What do you think of gingham styles that aren’t black and white? Are you a fan or not so much?

I am big fan of gingham print in pretty much all colours. Especially for tops or midi summer skirts.

When I took my daughter shopping for an 8th grade dance dress, we noticed every designer had a gingham something, usually a blouse. We called it the Wizard of Oz piece. That skirt is really cute, and doesn’t make me think of Dorothy 🙂
